Postcard from Up North

Green was the silence, wet was the light, the month of June trembled like a butterfly. ~Pablo Neruda

(Happy summer to you from the Bluff’s glowing wet light. May the season’s poetry be yours.)

I knew when I read this Pablo Neruda quote that I was someplace special….I have spent the evening poring over every exquisite photo and enticing recipe from Rose Water and Orange Blossoms…I cannot wait to start cooking from it…a good friend of ours introduced us to the magic of Lebanese food and although his restaurant closed soon after we have lifelong wonderful memories of his magical food and wondrous generosity to revisit with your beautiful book…..
