Happy Valentine’s Day

In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you. ~Buddha

(Valentine’s Day, we love your hearts and candy and roses, but most of all your message. It is akin to the message of Buddha and of ice-glazed branches, about the things that matters most.)

  1. Thank you, Maureen, for the wonderful–and meaningful–quote! I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog and using your recipes to make delicious food.

    Many, many thanks,

    Linda

  2. Happy Valentine to you too Maureen. It’s also snowing in Peoria Illinois. I love your photoshop and recipes. Enjoy the weekend.

  3. Happy Valentine’s day to you too, and all.

About winter, the tree looks great. But yesterday morning my gutters were over flowing and dripping onto the heat pump which caused it to ice up with a big water puddle on top of the ice. I had to switch into air conditioning mode (to heat up the outside unit, ie defrost it) and then go out and chip away ice that was over one inch thick in places. So much for winter in Maryland! 🙂

Always enjoy your emails, takes me away from the stock market for a few minutes. But I see something lacking in today’s blog. RED, you need more RED on Valentine’s day. 🙂
    take care, best, Jerry
