Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. ~ Mt 7:7

(These words never felt truer, or more humbling, than this past weekend when Dan Shaheen and I were married Up North in Michigan. I can’t wait to share more with you about that soon, including photos of a beautiful day–and a cake!–to remember.)

  1. Maureen, I’m so very happy for you and your Dan.. Congratulations to you both. I don’t know if you remember me from Wells and Monroe in Chicago? I’ve been followiing your blog for some time – it’s delightful – and I’m waiting for your cookbook to come out next summer. I wish you and Dan every blessing. Alice

  7. Congratulations! I also have Shaheens in my family tree – but they hail from Connecticut. Maybe we are now cousins??? hehe. 🙂

  8. You both asked, and were given each other. Jesus meant these words. He is truthful and compassionate. He also said that anyone exercising faith in him will not be destroyed but will have everlasting life. So my hope is that both of you attain to everlasting life in paradise on earth, together with your loved ones. That was God’s original purpose when he created Adam and Eve.
I hope that you will see your Grand mother Nabiha when she will be resurrected.
Mabrook to both, Maureen and Dan
