HI Maureen, Just a little note to ask you if there is a Lebanese cookbook in the works. The reason I ask is that many, upon reading David Lebovitz’s blog (are you familiar with it) about his trip to Lebanon, are asking if he knows of any good Leb cookbooks. And since I think you mentioned something re a cookbook in your blog, I thought of you. Hope you’re enjoying California!

I am from Petoskey and have lived in San Francisco for 37 years now. I love the city but still look forward to visiting Northern Michigan to see my family when ever I can. I am a 4th generation Michigander!

Maureen, you posted this gorgeous picture on my birthday. I left SF after 20+ years to return to family in the East. “I’ve Left my Heart in …” has become a cliche. But for anyone that has lived in the City by the Bay, it’s a powerful, timeless love song.
Ahhh, we share that special joy for the city by the bay, Maureen. We both parted from her for the love of family…but she’ll always be in our hearts!
